Schindler CLIMB Lift
The Schindler CLIMB Lift is a certified self-climbing system designed to expand within a building during construction, providing faster, safer, and more reliable transportation for both people and materials.
Efficient elevator installation meets flawless operation
The Schindler CLIMB Lift and its equipment are fitted at the beginning of a project and used throughout. When construction is complete, it becomes an integral, permanent elevator system in the building.
Crash deck
The waterproof crash deck protects the Schindler CLIMB Lift and anyone working below from falling objects.
Lifting platform (optional)
In self-climbing mode, the lifting platform transports the chain hoist used to pull up the machine platform and the elevator car. It ascends and descends using a dedicated suspension point located on the crash deck.
Installation platform (optional)
Between the lifting platform and the machine platform stands the protected installation platform, for the installation of guide rails, landing doors and other elevator shaft components.
Machine platform
The machine platform contains the elevator machine and controls, and is raised either by the tower crane or by the optional lifting platform.
Elevator car
Below the machine platform is the elevator car transporting people and goods, which is covered with temporary protective cladding.
The benefits of the Schindler CLIMB Lift are evident from the start
Construction teams can use the Schindler CLIMB Lift from early on in a project. Safety and productivity improve considerably, and building façades and lower floors are completed more quickly.
Improved work safety
Fulfills all the latest international elevator standards and guarantees safe and reliable transportation.
Increased capacity and faster speed
Can move larger loads, and transport people and goods more quickly to reduce waiting times and improve logistics.
All-weather operation
Operates in a dry, windproof hoistway, minimizing weather impact on workers and materials.
Early façade completion
As the Schindler CLIMB Lift is located in the core of the building, the façade can be closed earlier, without any unwanted design constraints.
Space saving
No external site space is required, and the elevator can operate 24/7, with minimal impact on high-density neighborhoods.
Reduced energy consumption
Energy-efficient elevator systems are in operation from the beginning of construction.
